About Us

Carole and Amanda are passionate about helping people who are experiencing Chronic Pain, Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia.

Amanda had been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia herself back in 1999 and fully understands the frustration of not being well and having the life she dreamed of, which has driven her passion and dedication for her own recovery.

Carole and Amanda met when they went through their training as an FHT Accredited Advanced Level Chrysalis Effect Practitioner with the Chrysalis Effect. They took further training in Family Dynamics and Trauma Informed Coaching.

Together they have a wealth of knowledge and understanding and work closely as a team to support their Chronic Pain, Fatigue and Fibromyalgia clients. Both Carole and Amanda run their own online clinics and their strength comes by working as a team to support their clients.

Carole too struggled with Chronic Pain for years before finally being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue and is now fully recovered and works to find the ‘Why’ behind other people’s chronic pain.

They then both went on to train with SIRPA (Stress Illness Recovery Association), an organisation that works with clients who have chronic pain in a psychophysiological way. Carole along with Amanda are lifelong learners.

They are passionate and dedicated to helping people with chronic pain and fatigue to regain their wellness and joy in life. They believe in treating the person holistically, exploring every aspect of their life, including past unresolved traumas, helping them to move forward and fulfil their true potential.

Hence the MindBody Learning Zone was born helping you to make the connections between your Mind and your Body

A little bit more about Carole Randell
MNCS, ILM, PgDip Psych, DHP Acc.Hyp

Carole has worked in Healthcare for over 30 years both in the UK and more recently in New Zealand. Carole is a Trauma Informed practitioner, a Registered Psychotherapist (NCS) and Wellbeing Transformational coach (ICF).

Carole's symptoms included exhaustion, brain fog, insomnia, muscle pain and much more, which lead Carole to an eventual diagnosis of M.E and Fibromyalgia. This included losing her job as a Practice Manager, her home, and many relationships.

Carole simply didn’t recognise who she was anymore. But more importantly it sent Carole on the search to find out the ‘Why’ behind so many chronic conditions associated with long term stress, Adverse Childhood Experiences and so much more.

After much searching and practitioner hopping Carole found a supported recovery programme and her recovery has gone on from strength to strength. Carole has now been symptom free for some time and with her background of Psychotherapy and Counselling it was only natural that she took the next step to training and became a Specialist Practitioner looking at the ‘Why’ behind long term chronic pain and medically unexplained symptoms associated with chronic conditions.

Carole has now been symptom free for some time using this approach which allows her to do the things she is passionate about – yoga, Yoga Nidra, walking and travelling.

She splits her time between the UK and New Zealand. Her heart in in understanding the ‘Self’ which has been a big factor in her recovery.
